We know that tourism will contribute to regional peace and cooperation considerably. Similarly, we believe that peace and collaboration will enhance tourism. At World Tourism Forum, we put in dedicated efforts to set the bar higher in this field. As a result, we gave a decision to organize our Angola 2019 Summit.
Angola boasts a rich variety of attractions that draw in tourists from around the world. The country has a wealth of archaeological sites and historic monuments. Sustainable tourism practices have been, luckily, gaining importance in the past couple of years. Tourism is one of the world’s largest industries and one of its fastest growing economic sectors. It has a multitude of impacts, both positive and negative, on people’s lives and on the environment. Sustainable tourism development guidelines and management practices are applicable to all forms of tourism in all types of destinations. Sustainability principles refer to the environmental, economic, and socio-cultural aspects of tourism development, and a suitable balance must be established between these three dimensions to guarantee its long-term sustainability.
As World Tourism Forum, our most primary duty is to develop tourism all over the world. We decided and intended to open up to countries with development potential and capacity, hold the next meetings there and introduce the beauties of Angola to the rest of the world.
We place a strong emphasis on Luanda to organize our Angola 2019 Summit there. Our main aim to kick off the Angola 2019 is to highlight Angola’s name in the industry in gold letters.
